The NBC Learn production, Chemistry Now: Chance Discoveries, has received a S.E.T. Award for Documentary or Unscripted Program. The awards are given out by the Entertainment Industry Council to honor productions that portray and promote the fields of science, engineering, technology and math.
RNRF Outstanding Achievement Award
Changing Planet, the NBC Learn video series on climate change, is the recipient of the 2012 Outstanding Achievement Award from the Renewable Natural Resources Foundation. The RNRF awards recognize accomplishments in the natural resource fields.

NBC Learn has been honored by the Association of Educational Publishers. NBC Learn K-12 was awarded the 2012 Distinguished Achievement Award in the category of "Supplemental Resources - Reference Materials, Digital Libraries, and Portals!" The AEP Awards honor the best resources that educate or support education.
33rd Annual Telly Awards
NBC Learn has been honored with FIVE Telly Awards for "Changing Planet" and "Chemistry Now." These video collections, funded by the National Science Foundation, reveal the impact of climate science and the contribution of chemistry in everyday life. The Telly Awards, founded in 1978, honor the best local, regional, and cable TV programs and commercials, as well as the finest video and film productions and work created for the web.

NBC Learn K-12 has been selected as a finalist for Best Education Reference Solution in the Software & Information Industry Association's 2012 CODiE Awards. The CODiE Awards recognize excellence in the business software, digital content, and education technology industries, and are the industry's only peer-reviewed awards program.

NBC Learn has been honored with a 2011 S.E.T. Award for the “Science of the Olympic Games” series. The SET Award acknowledges movies, TV series, radio and TV news programs, as well as print and online journalism that produce accurate and impactful entertainment promoting science, engineering, technology and mathematics.

Emmy Award Winner
NBC Learn won a 2010 Sports Emmy for the "Science of Sports" series, in partnership with NBC Sports, which includes Science of the Olympic Winter Games and the Science of NFL Football. These video collections, funded by the National Science Foundation, engage students of all ages about important real-world science concepts found in major sports. The award was in the "Outstanding New Approaches – Sports Programming" category.
